Minneapolis Public Schools True Food Chef Council and The Good Acre present Kids’ Summer Cooking Camp

  • The Good Acre 1790 Larpenteur Avenue West Falcon Heights, MN, 55113 United States (map)

MPS True Food Chef Council award-winning chefs offer a 3-day cooking camp geared toward children ages 8 – 12 years old. Learn the basics of locally-grown Minnesota produce, meet who grows it, and learn how to make it part of a delicious (and nutritious) meal.

Camp activities will include a combination of cooking skills/technique demonstrations, hands-on cooking, meeting farmers, and exploring the University of Minnesota Cornercopia Student Organic Farm, The Good Acre’s produce warehouse, and its onsite the hoop houses!

$90 fee covers entire 3-day camp. Note: This opportunity is open to all children of the Twin Cities–not just MPS students! IMPORTANT: All children must have a signed The Good Acre Waiver upon arrival to camp. A link to download the waiver will be found in your registration confirmation email, or email emily@thegoodacre.org to obtain a copy.
