In the Agriculture Marketing & Development Division of the Minnesota Department of Agriculture, Brian creates and delivers support services to food and beverage companies, primarily via market development and networking initiatives. This economic development programming provides a competitive advantage for participating companies in regional, national & international markets. Designed to create and retain MN jobs and pull MN agriculture products through our food processing market channels, services include: helping companies exhibit at trade shows under a “Minnesota Pavilion” banner, and a cost-sharing program to expand on in-store sampling/demos, and wholesale trade events.
Brian has worked with companies of all sizes, from direct-marketing farmers (Minnesota Grown) to multinationals (Export Promotions & Governors’ Trade Missions). He’s happiest working with small companies with passion for their brand. Brian and family live in Plymouth with the conditional consent of yellow lab, Indie.
