The first ever Food | Ag | Ideas Week (FAI) was 5 days of of panels and speaker discussions, structured networking, meet + eat roundtable discussions, and signature events highlighting emerging and leading topics across sustainable agriculture, food innovation and tech, and food and society. We had over 1000 participants across the week featuring over 100 Minnesota (and several non-Minnesota) leaders.
We brought together Fortune 500 business leaders, entrepreneurs, growers, innovators, investors, and for and non-profit thought-leaders from across industries within food and agriculture to come together for the first time as an interconnected community to drive visibility, connectivity, engagement and investment in Minnesota’s entrepreneur and innovation ecosystem.
The Week was led by Grow North and its programmatic partners AURI, the Maker to Market Accelerator, Techstars Farm to Fork Acccelerator, The Good Acre, The Bell Museum of Natural History, MPR's Call to Mind, and support partners including General Mills, Schwan's, Lazard, Bush Foundation, McKnight Foundation, Knight Foundation, McKinsey & Company, Minnesota Department of Agriculture, Canadian Consulate General of Minneapolis, Compeer Financial, Lakewinds Food Co-Op, City of St. Paul, FINNEGANS Brew Co, and more.
The week was October 8-12th alongside of Twin Cities Startup Week
